Health & Safety
|
|
Legislation requires employers to ensure so far as reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare of all employees and to safeguard others who may be put at risk from their work activities. This includes when they are undertaking work-related driving.
Therefore Health & Safety now has to be a definite factor within your driving at work policy. Responsibility is in your hands meaning that you have a duty of care obligation to ensure that the necessary checks, validations, assessments and support are woven into your policy. Your systems need to address all drivers not simply employees with a company car. This does not have to be an arduous and painful process.
Marshall Leasing has a range of products that deal with each specific requirement. We also have consultation and online facilities that will enable you to audit, track and manage the task. Our consultants are able to go through the options and assist you in selecting the right products to build into your policy.

Risk Assessment
Marshall Leasing has created a new product specifically designed to enable the client to manage the whole agenda of duty of care. FLEET CONTROL is an interactive on-line management tool which works on three different levels.
- Validation.
- Advice.
- Policy.
Created in association with the legal experts in risk assessment, our system takes both company and driver through a series of initial questions. This will establish your position and then assist you in navigating a route through the complicated maze of conformity. As you proceed, you will be able to chart your progress whilst the system will flag up areas that require attention. On-line advice is available from the experts to ensure that you keep pace with legislation. A comprehensive library of pre-written policy documentation is stored which enables you to immediately create appropriate internal notifications to employees, making sure that your company driving on business policy is both comprehensive and legally accurate.
