It was not foresight or for that matter a realisation
that the banks had it slightly wrong that set the fledgling Marshall Leasing on the road to success. In reality when the management team sat down to create Marshall Leasing, as a privately owned independent in 1990, they had no idea that what they thought the clients they were out to attract wanted would be so at odds with what the emerging industry giants were to offer.
But as it turns out these very same banks are now
keen to describe a client relationship in terms which suggest personal attention, dedicated account managers, regular meetings, direct line communication, flexibility, and transparency.
