6 Of The Most Important High-End And Luxury Cars Of 2016
05 September 2016
Leading on from the first part of our 2016 vehicle review which looks at SUVS, here we’re going to share with you our picks from the high-end and luxury market.
You may not be able to afford to kit out your whole company fleet with them, but even with one of these vehicles in your arsenal you can offer that little touch of class that will set your business a part from the rest.
Read on to discover which of 2016s vehicles make it onto our list and exactly why they make the cut.
BMW M2 Coupe
The smallest model in the M range, the BMW M2 Coupe is definitely not to be underestimated. The model is based on the 2 Series Coupe and packs a little extra punch: a whopping 365bhp turbocharged straight-six engine. You can get yours in a six-speed manual or even a seven-speed dual-clutch auto.
Ford GT Supercar
Taking a leap into the future, the Ford GT Supercar is worlds away from its retro-styled predecessor. This new version also comes with more firepower, with a twin-turbo V6 offering around 600bhp. Why? The clue is in its name: the Ford GT Supercar will mark Ford’s return to endurance racing.
Honda NSX Coupe
To beat its previous model the Honda NSX Coupe has a tough challenge on its hands. But instead of going down the same route, the new Honda NSX Coupe is a very different beast: it’s engine is made up of turbocharged V6 combined with three electric motors. For that you’ll get 600bhp, four wheel drive, and economical fuel costs.
Mercedes S-Class Convertible
It’s been nearly 50 years since Mercedes released a first full-sized four-seat convertible, but this year they’ve gone back to their roots. The Mercedes S-Class Convertible is based on its coupe version and incorporates elegant styling with cutting-edge technology. Don’t expect to get one for less than 100k.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Saloon
Making an impact in the executive saloon market is the Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon, Alfa Romeo’s latest attempt to make a dent in the Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes, and BMW dominated space. Will they do it? It’s hard to say, but their best offering seems to be the super-rapid 503bhp Quadrifoglio Verde (Cloverleaf) version — which could easily give its rivals a run for their money.
Bentley Bentayga SUV
You can’t get much more high-end and luxury than the Bentley Bentayga SUV. And that’s exactly what it intends to be; Bentley have stated they want this model to be the most luxurious, exclusive, and fasted SUV in the world. One things for sure, it’s certainly one of the priciest — you can get yours for no less than £160,000.
