Marshall Leasing is proud to sponsor 25-year-old former Motorsport UK British Rally Championship Academy Trophy title winner Johnnie Mulholland in his fourth championship campaign.
Last season, Johnnie finished runner up in the Junior British Rally Championship. This year, he is back and competing in a new class with a different car and driving style.
This season, Johnnie is competing in the newly introduced BRC Rally3 class with a brand-new M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Johnnie said that he believes the new Rally3 class will be a ‘real highlight’ for followers of the series.
Johnnie’s Fiesta Rally3 recently made its tarmac debut in the second round of the BRC championship at the Beatson's Building Supplies Jim Clark Rally in Duns, finishing 1st in the Rally3 class.
This makes two wins for Johnnie in the first two rounds of the season, which is fantastic news. Round three will take place in Belgium at the Ardeca Ypres Rally between June 22 and June 24 2023.
