Vehicle Excise Duty Check
Effective from 1st October 2014 the government announced the abolition of the paper tax disc, along with the associated “failure to display” legislation. From that date drivers no longer receive a tax disc, although the Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) still needs to be paid by the registered keeper. Marshall Leasing recognise that the absence of a paper tax disc may cause concern, especially as driving without excise duty being paid continues to be an offence.
In addition to formal communication from Marshall Leasing via your vehicle admin department, the government has launched a web service where anyone can check the VED status of their vehicle free of charge. Our commitment is to ensure that your VED is kept up to date but should you wish to validate this for your own peace-of-mind please click the link below.
You will be required to enter your registration number and the vehicle’s manufacturer to validate the enquiry. If you have any concerns please contact our Customer Services team on 01480 414541:
